The Plot
Well, we're often losing it but here we are with a theatre company doing rather well for itself created by Sarah Bishop and Will Burns. Two creatives with an idea, an ideal, and this is to bring new and original theatre to the local stage.
Established in 2019 to pop a new play by Will onto the stage, we did this successfully and are going from strength to strength. Our vision into 2026 is to keep building, giving people new opportunities and we are doing something a little different by the end of the year!
We are delighted to share the journey with Sarah's daughter, the very talented Kimberley Blount. Kim turns her hand to directing and choreographing but is particularly famed for treading the boards at BTP herself, excelling in comedy roles.
We also take particular note of the talents of Joanne Powell who has joined forces with Sarah to write the 25/26 pantomimes and our very own Dame, Mr Philip Smith who brings many years (Sorry Phil) of experience to the table.
